This helmet is extra strong, with layers of laminated bamboo, glued together. Our internal tests have shown it is stronger than any other bicycle helmets on the market.

Bamboo bends but does not break. Mekong Quilts produces very reliable bamboo helmets our upgraded version of the regulator adds up and down adjustment function, which is suitable for a wide range of people. The helmets have not been certified yet, this is under process.

Tam Vong bamboo is light weight but has the same tensile strength as steel. The bike components are of a high quality, from Taiwanese suppliers. The components and bamboo frames are connected with hemp and epoxy, a technique developed and tested rigorously through our extensive quality control processes.

We have 2 workshops in the province, creating jobs for 20 craftsmen and women. It takes over 50 hours of expertise to craft these unique bikes: by riding this bike you contribute to a better life for dozens of people.

The City bike is perfect for every day cycling. It features front and back bamboo mudguards, a bamboo chain guard, double caliper brakes and a fully adjustable seat. It is a light-weight and comfortable ride, ensuring that you will be envied and admired wherever you go.

The Folding bike is perfect for every day cycling or even longer rides. It features 7 gears for easy riding, front and rear bamboo mud-guards, an adjustable seat and front and back calliper brakes. Bamboo, as a natural resource is strong yet flexible, thus the bamboo frame ensures comfort even on bad roads. As the name suggests, the folding bike can be folded to make it compact and save room. Within a matter of minutes, the bike can be folded (without the use of tools) to a size of 840 x 900 x 300mm, with a total weight of just 14 kilos. You can choose to pull it, taking advantage of the rear wheel.

Description:

We offer frames for all Mountain bikes, City bikes, Fixies of the geometryand size of your choice. Frames are of natural color, the epoxy connections may be of the color of your choice. Cables are inside the top tube. All parts for the mountain bike frames are in aluminum. Typically the weight of a frame is around 3-3,5 kilos.

The making of a frame takes about 40-50 hours, all by hand. Mekong+ and Mekong Quilts employ 20 regular workers, whose income has approximately doubled. They have a proper health and accident insurance as well as other benefits. Quality is our priority. The whole process is monitored, and frames are strictly checked on 2 instances. Only perfect products are on sale. They are covered by a 4 year warranty.
